New! Philadelphia VA aligns with University of Pennsyvlania on Study which inaccurately portrays the disparities in Community Care as deterent to federal OIG Reports and 2024 study showing otherwise.
The study, “Racial and Ethnic Differences in Health Care Experiences for Veterans Receiving VA Community Care from 2016 to 2021,” appeared in the May 31, 2024 issue of the Journal of General Internal Medicine. Authors include Sudarshan Krishnamurthy, Yaming Li, Florentina Sileanu, Utibe R. Essien, Megan E. Vanneman, Maria Mor, Michael J. Fine, Carolyn T. Thorpe, Thomas Radomski, Katie Suda, Walid F. Gellad, and Eric T. Roberts.

Veterans Advocacy Services – NABVETS PHILLY 0039
As a **nationally certified Veterans Service Organization (VSO)**, NABVETS is chartered by Congress and recognized by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to represent veterans in claims and benefits processes. Chapter 0039 builds on this foundation with localized, equity-driven support.
POST TRANSITION ADJUSTMENT
Post Military Transtition barriers and challenges require a wholistic approach and strategy individually catered to address the specific needs of those who serve. We have the professional network and collaborators to ensure that we recognize the needs and are able to offer the appropriate response and support.
SUPPORT SERVICES
We are aligned with the VHA and the local medical community for a continuum of care and support services.
We are united with both government, public and private enterprises for alternative and traditional treatment strategies.
